The IXmaps Research Project

IXmaps is led by researchers at the University of Toronto’s Faculy of Information.

IXmaps develops a mapping tool aimed at helping internet users and researchers learn about Internet routing, surveillance and privacy. It encourages individuals to contribute their own routes, and reports on the privacy ratings of internet service providers. IXmaps is partially funded by Centre for Digital Rights.
